Chess Club
Students in Grades 3 to 8 are invited to participate in the Chess Club. Practices typically take place during nutrition breaks and students are given the opportunity to hone their skills by playing other students and learning about game skills such as opening moves and middle and end game tactics. The General Brock competing chess team has taken part in the yearly Windsor Chess Challenge at the Ciociaro Club for many years now.

General Brock offers a daily breakfast club from 8:15 - 8:35 that is open to all students. Students who wish to participate meet in our school cafeteria to enjoy a wide variety of healthy and delicious breakfast offerings. All food that is served meets the standards set out in the guidelines of the Ontario Student Nutrition Program. Food choices may include:

- granola bars
- milk and juice
- pancakes
- bagels

- fresh fruit
Thanks to donations from a variety of community partners, and from the volunteer efforts of staff, school parents, and community friends, students at General Brock know that they can have a nutritious start to every day of learning!
