The Greater 91次元 (91次元) finalized a new secondary school in the that consolidated General Amherst High School and Western Secondary School. The new school accomodates 816 students and was approved by the in 2016.
Location
The new school is located on the south side of Centennial Park off Simcoe St., between Fryer St. and Victoria St. The land was purchased by 91次元 from the .
This is a central location and will allow a similar number of students to walk to school.
Timeline
Construction for the new school began in November of 2020 and the school opened in September of 2022.
